In the role of financial director for IUPUI Auxiliary Services, Sharon Grohowski is responsible for financial statements, budgets, strategic planning and administration for auxiliary units including University Place Conference Center and Hotel, campus bookstores, food service, mail services, printing services, and the IUPUI Sport Complex (IU Natatorium, Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium and Indianapolis Tennis Center).

Grohowski came to IUPUI in 1996 from the Cat Litter Division of Ralston Purina in South Bend where she was assistant controller. With over 20 years accounting experience, both in the corporate and university settings, she is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in management with a concentration in accounting and went on to complete an MBA. She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA.)

She is alumni member of the FODS group (University Fiscal Officers) and a graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Series.
